What is the Skilled and Business Migration Program?

The Skilled and Business Migration Program (SBMP) delivers Victoria’s Skilled Migration Strategy, which is working to increase the number of skilled and business migrants choosing our State and maximise their contribution to Victoria’s economic development through skills, investment and jobs. Skilled and business migrants help meet the skills needs of Victorian employers and add to the economic growth and cultural diversity of our communities.

SMBP promotes Victoria internationally to potential skilled and business migrants who have the skills our economy needs – tradespeople and professionals well as business owners and investors across a range of industries. It also provides visa sponsorship for provisional and permanent residence visas.
